I am feeling this Luna intensely. I am feeling her mission in my partnership and also within myself.
So what is her mission this cycle?
This Libra Moon's Mission
In Libra, luna wants to balance out what is not in harmony. She wants to bring peace. She is the diplomat, calling for fairness and justice. The reminder, that it is not just about the ME, but also about the ME in the YOU, mirror mirror on the wall... Therefore she puts her light especially on our relationships at the moment. Luna always brings us insights around our needs... in Libra it is especially about our needs in our relationships. Where are we living in an extreme and need more balance? What needs to be brought back into harmony?
This mission is being supported yet also challenged by several additional aspects at the moment. First a little insight on the Libra-Aries Axis, which is active right now.
The Aries-Libra Axis
The Aries-Libra polarity is a relationship axis, where Aries represents “self,” and Libra represents “other.” Where Aries is about self-assertion, Libra is about togetherness, fairness and compromise. With the Libra Moon, we’re especially aware of our need to relate and all that comes with maintaining our friend- and relationships — compromising, negotiating, graciousness and balancing. Sun in Aries, on the other hand, is self-assertive, leading, and personally courageous. Aries is the sign of the warrior - that stands up for himself and is a driving force of action - that can serve us in this process. For there is no harmony and balance without the willingness to face conflict.
Luna now urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and attending to the needs of a significant other - and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability. Libra is diplomatic, equality-focused, and fair-minded. However, she can love harmony so much (cause she can't stand conflict), that she sometimes loses herself in fake harmony. You know...the kind of harmony where you do as if everything is alright, and inside you are boiling like a pot, ready to explode? YES, that is why she also needs Aries, which is her polarity. Cause Sun in Aries values authenticity over tact and is energized by independent efforts. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict and relationship epiphanies can now occur.
It is important for us to remember, that the 'other' is our mirror. That we can reconnect to ourselves by recognizing ourself in the other. This is why conflicts in our relationships (doesn't matter if romantic, professional or friendly) can now support us in our healing more than ever.
Mars in Aquarius squaring Uranus in Taurus 💥
Meanwhile a Mars-Uranus square can initiate sudden change, unpredictable events and conflict. We are made especially aware of our need for others. Mars-Uranus is divisive, but a Venus-Mars trine suggests we’re finding creative ways to relate and unite. Venus, as the ruler of Libra, rules this full moon. Right now she's in the sign of gemini, ruler of communication. At the same time Mars rules over the Sun in Aries right now. This trine is especially helpful for resolving conflicts by sharing our truth and communicating our needs.
This conflict (Mars-Uranus) is also being played out collectively. The warrior in Aquarius wants to break out of the old, of everything that is limiting him. He wants to move on, put his energy in finding new ways for the so so needed CHANGE, that serves the collective and the greater good. Uranus in Taurus says - so far so good, but before you can act, you need to learn your lesson. Uranus in Taurus is a wake up call - if we are not willing to value mother earths resources, money, our bodies resources - basically everything that is earth - we will step from one sudden crisis into the next (in order for us to change course). He is saying "Wake up, we are an interdependent collective, we need community, we need common ground and we need to create an economy that serves the wellbeing of all human beings and our earth mother". So we will see... when we will be ready for that.
Jupiter Pluto conjunction in Capricorn 💥
Jupiter and Pluto are merging in Capricorn right now - an aspect that can enhance the dark sides of power, authority and control. Within (where can't we let go of control?) as without (power misuse of governments, authorities and so on). Jupiter is the principle of expansion. This energy makes everything bigger and brings abundance, yet abundance can also create overwhelm and chaos, if we are not open to receive its gifts. So in combination with Pluto, we might be overwhelmed by our own shadows more than ever. However, all of this is a call to expand, grow and surrender. Therefore Jupiter pushes Pluto, God of the Underworld, ruling over the shadows, to show us even more of what we need to heal and integrate in order for us to move on.
Wushhh... 💥 lots of shadow work to do, Brothers and Sisters. I can tell you that am having my fair share of it at the moment, I am sure you do too. However, the more I surrender and let go of my resistance (which is basically declaring war to what is) and feel that fucking grief, anger and whatever else is coming up, my heart cracks open... every time. All of it feels like an initiation into a new era of consciousness. And I am fucking ready for it, how about you?
Sending you full moon blessings throughout the world, lots of love and strength, most of all health and gentleness for yourself and others. I love you - we are connected through this and beyond. We are one!
Much love, Katharina
